I ended up giving this book 5 stars for the uniqueness of this cookbook. I would certainly say the better chunk of the recipes were unique or she gave her own flare to them. As I do with most of my cookbooks, I viewed this from my library first, I have about 2 handfuls of recipes to copy and am seriously considering purchasing it for convenience. That is how many recipes piqued my palate. A better chunk of the recipes seem to have much more of an Asian flare, but she doesn't limit it to there. Frankly, her "Latin" recipes were my favorite. I loved her "well stocked kitchen" suggestions as well. Those really help a novice chef! This is the type of cookbook that I love to "sample" recipes from for my food blog and can't wait to try some of these babies!
