I think this book was much "tighter" in writing then her debut novel You Are Next. However, I still feel that there is no connection to the main character and that her involvement to the story is very superficial..like you can't get to know what is "in her head". It irks me about that character, yet I cannot be for certain whether the author has done this intentionally as an effort to "express" the trauma the character has gone through...Hmmmmm!
