I found this book fascinating. In another review, I identified that I read this book concurrently with the book The Body Project by Joan Jacobs Brumberg. I found it amazing how these books complimented each other and gave a picture of society's, including advertisers, impact on a woman's self value and image from the late 1800's to today.
