The Fall of the House of Dixie: The Civil War and the Social Revolution That Transformed the South - Bruce Levine 4.5/5 StarsAn absolutely fantastic read. I learned so much from this book. It wasn't from larger events, as I found some of those repetitive, but it was from "personal accounts" and more detailed incidents that I learned the information from. I would recommend this book for any Civil War buff. On a special note, this was an incredibly slow read. I believe I read 20 pages per night due to the ability to digest the wealth of information.
