3.5/5 StarsI listed to this book and absolutely loved the narrator, Gary Farmer. I will be looking into more narrations by him.On the book front, I must admit that the beginning of the book kept me more entranced than the later part of the book. In the later part, I had several incidents where I zoned out. There were periods of this book that I couldn't figure out what it had to do with the story. In some cases, it flushed out. In others, it didn't. Otherwise, I loved hearing about native American traditions, history coming of age story. I also found myself entranced with the mystery component of the story. This book somewhat had the feeling of the movie Stand By Me to me.
