This short story (approx. 12 pages) was poor in a number of ways. First, although, it is clear that this will be a series of short novellas, I thought the author chose a very poor point to break it up. I would rather he gone into a deeper description of Maggie's crimes and then went into her "rescue" by the reverend in another installment or that he would have made it a longer novella. I thought the character development was WAY too weak in this because Ivor was trying to fit too much into the pages.
